Булат Окуджава & Валентин Левашов. Бери шинель, пошли домой ! (1975)

"TAKE YOUR TRENCH ! GO HOME !" The Liric of this antimilitary song was written by Bulat Okudzhava (1924 - 1997), who is one famous Georgian songwritter and poet. This work is rich with personal memories, as he has participated in Second World War. The liric reflects the toll of war, lost comrades and homesickness in simple forms. Some poems and songs of Okudzhava were criticised by Soviet power for pacifism and absence of patriotism. Ha was wxcluded from the communist party in 1972, because sme his lirics were published in West Germany. This song is still relevant in presence. The war in Ukraine has been lasting for four years already... Enormous damage has been done to all of the world, which wll not be forgiven for centures... Since 50 years the wise Okudzhava urged: "How shall I face the widow? Could I swear by the day which is lost? TAKE YOUR TRANCH, GO HOME!" #nowar #antiwar #gohome #Okudzhava #беришинель #пошлидомой #Ukraine #sinceresongs #24022022 #Kiev #Donbass #stopwar #chanson #bardsong #bardmusic #Georgia #guitarsong
