When art began defining its own value at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, a vast array of artistic movements emerged in a very short time. It was like opening Pandora's box, only what emerged from this box were not calamities but a wide variety of artistic movements. Each artist sought to find their own unique approach in search of a completely new art, a new aesthetic. But the most decisive step was taken by Dadaism, the most outrageous and provocative artistic movement of early modernism.
