Aussie PM accidentally bulldozes 8-year-old during football match

Australian PM Scott Morrison appeared to be taking inspiration from the sporting prowess of Boris Johnson on Wednesday, when he stopped off on the campaign trail for a kickabout with a junior football team. Morrison was playing in a training game at the Devonport Strikers Football Club in Tasmania, when he lost his footing and collided with 8-year-old Luca Fauvette, sending them both crashing to the ground. Morrison later wrote on Facebook that he’d checked up on Luca and he was fine, giving the kid a shout out for being ‘such a good sport.’ He also joked about helping to bulldoze the stadium whenever they wanted a refurbishment. Maybe the elections themselves should be decided with a no-rules football match?
