An Ohio father shot and killed his daughter's ex-boyfriend, James Rayl, as Rayl attempted to break into their home. The incident was captured on a Ring doorbell camera. The ex-boyfriend had previously dated the daughter and was trying to force his way inside despite warnings from the father, who then fired three shots. A grand jury decided not to charge the father, citing Ohio's "Stand Your Ground" and "Castle Doctrine" laws.
